Bar Da Monica is the perfect place for chilling after a long day stroll around Venice. Tasty food and great cheap Spritz to enjoy the sunset with a breathtaking view from La Giudecca island. The place is also perfectly located near the Vaporetto stop “Le Zitelle”, easily and quickly reachable from San Marco.

This restaurant has a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the sunset in Giudecca. In my opinion, their food is just standard, but I do love their Bellini, a cocktail made with Prosecco and peach purée, which originally comes from Venice. I had a great time enjoying the sunset after exploring the island. What a beautiful way to end the day.

Found it thanks to the reviews, we expected it to be cheaper from what was written, while in reality it is in line if not a little more expensive than the standard prices and others in the Venetian Lagoon. However, the food is good, the staff friendly, but the strong point is absolutely the view. Recommended for an aperitif at sunset.

Food is not made in the moment. They freeze it and then warm it back. Pasta was ok, but nothing special. Staff was fast and efficient and the view was, of course, amazing!

Very cute small and intimate this cafe bar, just like they once existed and which is increasingly difficult to find. Outdoor tables with an unmissable view of San Marco. However, today the wind did not allow such a view. But cheerful and friendly staff. A nice break in Giudecca....one of the few places in Venice that is citizen-friendly.
