Bar Cristallo In Verona

The atmosphere is cozy but small. It has outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly, and the coffee is good. They have a wide selection, especially sweets and pastries, but also some savory treats. I personally really like the decor.

Now I stop by whenever I can. They're also excellent for gluten-free and lactose-free options.

One of the few vegan options for breakfast in Pisa. They have not only the standard empty cornetto but also a lot of vegan pastries. The prices are fair.

Espresso is tasty, orange juice could be colder, e.g. with ice cubes. ♿️ The bathroom is adapted to the needs of disabled people, but there is a narrow passage leading to it - I'm afraid that a person in a wheelchair will not be able to pass through here. There is a changing table in the bathroom.

We went in the morning to order a custom cake and picked it up in the afternoon without any problems. The service was exceptional: they even sang Happy Birthday, which was a nice touch. The work environment was very pleasant. I recommend this place, both for a special order or to stop by for a coffee if you're in Pisa.

Located in a nice alleyway near one of the main shopping streets the Cristallo Café offered a great spot to sit and cool down on a hot summer day. Its location is great as there is a constant nice breeze. Unfortunately though we were disappointed with the food. We had the carbonara and risotto and both were very mediocre. Portions are small, prices are ok but quality is and taste was very inadequate. I assume if one would come here for coffee and/or dessert, the experience might be better. Service was good, fast and friendly.
