This place is a hidden gem on the Capri Island. Absolutely amazing view and beautiful ambience matched with phenomenal food. My grandmother was a 5 star Italian chef back in Detroit and having the Ravioli here brought back all those memories of eating my Nona’s cooking ❤️😋

The location is wonderful, and the owners make you feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that makes the experience even more memorable.

Columbus in Anacapri is a true hidden gem! They have a gorgeous terrace, beautifully decorated, and the food is absolutely perfect – all made with local ingredients and carefully explained when served. We were fortunate to be hosted by the owners themselves and were amazed to learn that they even produce their own olive oil from their grove, which was truly incredible. We tried local cheeses, fresh pasta, and a meat dish – and the sauce that came with the meat was honestly better than what we’ve had at many steakhouses. This place is not to be missed when visiting Capri or Anacapri. Lastly, but not least, the decoration with plants is stunning. Go there and you will be amazed by everything.

Sabrina made our time in Capri unforgettable. From the moment I messaged her on WhatsApp, she went above and beyond to create a private experience that became the absolute highlight of our week. Every single dish was incredible — authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

We had a wonderful meal at Columbus! Everything was so fresh, from the carefully crafted and original appetizers to the perfectly cooked meat. Before we even started, they let us taste the local olive oil, a detail that makes the experience even more authentic. The atmosphere is magical: you dine beneath a beautiful cascade of plants that creates a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The service is kind and attentive. A must-see in Anacapri! 🌿✨

Los ingredientes se obtienen localmente y son orgánicos. También te tratan con su propio aceite de oliva que es afrutado y tiene un regusto a pimienta. Teníamos pasta con calamares a la parrilla junto con lubina con patatas. Fue increíble y cocinado perfectamente. La papa también creó una buena salsa que se combinó bien con el pescado. El servicio era genial y nos hicieron sentir especiales y bienvenidos. El restaurante está rodeado de vidrio y tiene vegetación en el interior, por lo que es un buen ambiente. Disfrutamos de todos los aspectos de este lugar.

Das Essen im Columbus war grossartig, die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich und kompetent. Da wir beim ersten Mal so zufrieden waren, sind wir gleich noch ein zweites Mal gekommen. Man merkt, dass der Besitzer grossen Wert auf lokale und qualitativ hochstehende Produkte legt. So war die gemischte Käseplatte mit etwas Rohschinken köstlich. Dazu gab es kleine Schälchen mit Birnenkompott, eingelegten Paprika und ein Gläschen dickflüssigen Aprikosensaft, die wunderbar mit dem Käse harmonierten. Danach haben wir einen unglaublich zarten Oktopus auf Mangold gegessen sowie leckere Kürbisgnocchi mit Vongole und Rucola. Gerne hätten wir die Tagliata probiert, die am Nebentisch serviert wurde und fantastisch ausgesehen hat. Der Appetit hat aber nur noch für ein Stück Aofelkuchen gereicht, der sehr saftig war und bei dem die Äpfel gut zur Geltung gekommen sind. Dieses Slow-Food-Restaurant ist die kulinarische Entdeckung auf Capri! Und das bei äusserst vernünftigen Preisen.
