The place where Professor GMB (that's me) has breakfast every morning. Kindness, grace, tact. A bartender like Stefano is hard to find these days. These are fast-paced times, times of stress and unhappy people. Well, Bar Centrale represents the "Paradise Lost" Milton spoke of: in this place, time stands still, the heartbeat slows, and what I mean by "the good life" (quote from Rossini's "The Barber of Seville") resurfaces amidst the chaos of everyday life. A timeless place, "with one foot in the past and a gaze straight and open to the future." And then, last but not least, the bartender, or rather "bar girl," Nadia di Pennabilli, who with her beauty, her ever-changing look, and her wit, radiates joy and sensuality throughout the place. Praise be to Bar Centrale, praise be to Novafeltria. P.S.: and besides, Professor P.L. doesn't know I have breakfast there, so I can relax.
