Bar Castello In Sassoferrato

A charming location nestled in the square of an ancient village. Excellent dishes with mixed cured meats and the new, truly delicious pizza. The setting and atmosphere are perfect, expertly managed by the staff.

We were there on a Sunday, two of us with a two-and-a-half-year-old. The fact that the square wasn't accessible to cars allowed us to fully enjoy an excellent prosecco and a white wine while engaging in a pleasant conversation with the owner, Graziano, an energetic and enterprising person, helpful and kind, as was the bartender. The child played happily in the square while we relaxed like we hadn't in a long time. The cured meats and cheeses on the platter were excellent, especially the ciauscolo, which isn't found everywhere. Highly recommended!!!
