One of the BEST BARS in the area if not the best. The OWNER boasts absolute experience and professionalism; the artisanal products sold are excellent; the structural environment is of an elegant composition; with terrace overlooking the sea and walnut root structures; recommended to everyone.

05/07/2025: Good food. More than fair prices.
23/05/2025: Quaint, very local establishment in the tiny enclave of Serre di Rapolano. Lucky for us it was the only restaurant open in the town that accommodated our group of 5. I imagine the server was perhaps tired from a long day of serving and we were the last customers at almost 10pm. So although the service suffered a bit, the food was great!

La Trattoria da Ugo

15/06/2025: Our first night in Taormina, we ended up at Ugo on a recommendation, the service was top, the owner was very nice, he served our table, talked about wine, olive oil and local products, with such passion that you listened with concentration. The food itself was honest and delicious, the atmosphere was truly family-like. We could eat here every day.
11/06/2025: Such a delicious meal in Taormina, the most wonderful staff and family owned restaurant, can’t recommend enough! Ugo and Amaria were just lovely!
