RV park, a 20-minute walk from the center. We stayed there in winter: bathrooms and hot showers are included in the rate and were clean and heated. The pitch has electricity and water hookups. There are coin-operated washing machines and a dryer. Be careful with the opening hours, as it seems check-in closes at 7:30 PM. In any case, call the manager, who is very helpful. I highly recommend it!

A quiet, well-equipped place. I stayed for two days with my children. It's the perfect place for anyone seeking tranquility.

Rest area near the Serchio River. It's very convenient because it's just steps from the river for walks or bike rides, right on the Via Francigena. Lucca, however, takes about half an hour via the river or 15-20 minutes via the city. As for the amenities, I have to say they're not the best; the bathrooms leave much to be desired and don't deserve a passing grade. There's no toilet paper, and the showers have a barely-effective plastic curtain. Despite this, I'm not fussy, and if I returned to Lucca, I'd stay here again.

Rest area outside Lucca's walls. Small gravel pitches. Heated bathrooms in winter with free hot water. Friendly staff. It's best to bring bicycles to get into the city and tour the walls.

Excellent campervan area with all amenities, fairly close to the city of Lucca, also accessible by shuttle, reasonable prices with everything included. Highly recommended.

We arrived on the 24th to spend the Christmas holidays and will leave tomorrow, December 28th. It's a truly wonderful place to stay, with a well-maintained rest area and campsite, spacious and comfortable pitches with gravel that absorbs rain and doesn't create mud (no small feat). There are separate restrooms for men and women, numerous showers, sinks, and toilets. The showers are spacious and well-organized, and the restrooms are meticulously cleaned. Since it's winter, we weren't able to enjoy all the green space available, but it's plentiful and well-maintained. Lucca is nearby, a 20-minute walk with our slow-walking dogs. Andrea, the owner, is helpful and kind; the rest area is automated, but he's still available and present during check-in hours. Overall, we recommend staying here because it has everything you need for a relaxing day.

We were looking for a quiet place in the low season, in December. We didn't expect much and needed to relax. Finding "il Serchio" was wonderful. It has all the amenities you need, and the owner is always available. Bathrooms with showers and hot water, washers and dryers, and it's very close to the center of Lucca! It's a beautiful bike ride away. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!
