We stopped by Bar Basso in Milan for a quick drink, and it turned out to be a nice experience. The drinks were excellent, and the place offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
The food was just okay, but the service can be a bit slow. That said, the lively vibe makes up for it — the place is quite popular among youngsters and has a great atmosphere to unwind with friends.

A historic bar in Milan, I returned here after 40 years, by chance. Everything has remained as it was, which would be a good thing if only the vintage elements were taken care of. However, the place could use some attention and renovation while respecting its original style. The staff was very friendly and the sandwiches were delicious. Quality ingredients.

Understand it is a historical and design relevant place and all but a little bid of love for guests would go a long way. Anyway happy that I did it and finally could drink my Negroni from a goblet

we went there on a nice sunday afternoon and it was full!! I do love bars where people hang outside and sip on their drinks so we waited to get a spot outside

It's a historic bar. The waiter was an incredibly rude young man. The appetizer only comes with potatoes and olives. I wouldn't go back there.

A classic spot in Milan for a Negroni. There are certainly better places to have one, but this is the benchmark for this aperitif.

A place steeped in history, where the star attraction is the Negroni Sbagliato: it's said that in 1972, bartender Mirko Stocchetto, while preparing a Negroni, made a "slip-up" and used prosecco (sparkling wine) instead of gin. The result: this marvel. A gigantic drink, fun to sip from an extremely heavy glass, making the experience cheerful and colorful.

Locale storico per l aperitivo a Milano. Un classico che non passa mai di moda. Ottimi aperitivi. Vale sempre la pena andarci ogni tanto.
