Monday evening in August...let's meet for dinner, but where? Places closed for shifts, for holidays, I have to search randomly. A lucky evening, I was supposed to go to Saint Vincent, but instead I stumbled upon this place, Da Baffo. I was intrigued by the name, read the reviews, and booked for five. I was delighted. We found a young man, but with a lot of passion and a fair amount of experience, including abroad, that has allowed him to create Piedmontese cuisine enriched with traditional Italian seafood dishes. You'll find our usual appetizers, well-made, just like my mother and grandmother used to make, but also delicious grilled meat dishes on a suitably short menu that prioritizes freshness over quantity. Few dishes, but well-made. The same goes for the wine; they have everything, but slowly. Sparkling wines, Piedmontese, a few regional ones. A few dessert wines are missing, if we really want to point something out. The chef was incredibly friendly, even though a mixup meant he had to do everything himself, juggling the kitchen, dining room, and bar. Kudos to him for maintaining a consistently friendly approach despite the challenges.

Spectacular to say the least, I tried the meat and it was spectacular... well done guys and well done Francesco! I said mustache! Great!

Really good place! Excellent tomini, spectacular shrimp scialatielli, and I couldn't resist...the Russian salad for dessert. Highly recommended. Very fair prices for the quality of the food.

Caratteristica piola in zona Barriera di Milano. È un localino senza pretese ma con una identità forte, dove la memoria non è sbiadita.. Francesco mette la passione nei suoi piatti e si vede, si sente con il palato... Ci sono sapori che sanno risvegliare la nostra memoria, e qui accade... Con le acciughe cantabricco con il bagnetto verde, con il vitello tonnato, con i peperoni in bagna cauda, il tipico bonet ed il tiramisu' espresso. Siamo venuti spinti dalla curiosità, sperando di ritrovare i sapori di un tempo e li abbiamo trovati ad accoglierci come se fossimo sempre stati li... Gli scialatielli ai gamberi poi una delizia! Non è solo un buon incontro con piatti buoni e ben rifiniti, è una esperienza che solo chi sa riconoscere, sa apprezzare.. In un'epoca in cui molti sanno nascondersi solo dietro le tastiere, il coraggio di Francesco di riaprire, dando voce alla sua passione, non solo è ammirevole, è raro!

Locale molto accogliente ampia scelta di drink ottimo aperitivo con un servizio caldo consiglio il tagliere per 2 persone per un aperitivo abbondante e gustoso
