A great place for aperitivo or aperitivo. Wide selection of beers and wines. Friendly staff.

I discovered this bar the time I ate pizza at a nearby restaurant. I saw some delicious dishes being brought to the customers having an aperitif at our adjacent table, but of course, they were served by the bar. They were incredibly delicious. I promised myself I'd return, and so I did. Unfortunately, I happened upon it on the evening of the patron saint's day, and unfortunately they were offering a fixed-menu aperitif. I asked to change the menu, but it was all in vain. It wasn't great, and it was also very, very expensive. A unique disappointment after traveling 50 km to get there and 50 km back.

A bar that's not just a bar. We booked for an aperitif with friends and they literally filled us with food. The service was fast and punctual, very courteous and friendly. The dishes arrived perfectly timed, mostly finger food, but also more elaborate dishes to be eaten with cutlery. Everything was delicious, served in more than adequate portions, for less than €20 per person, including appetizers and water.

So: an oasis in the desert! I know this bar in Castelgiorgio, which is a small village. I know it because it's on my street and I don't frequent it, but it has nothing to do with village bars, and it's well stocked, they're friendly, in short it's a bar that could be in a main street of a provincial city, even and why not the capital.
