An authentic place, like very few others left. Simple but incredibly fresh food, generous portions, and more than fair prices. Friendly service (Nadia is top notch!). You couldn't ask for more.

Had dinner with the family. A few dishes, but all excellent: stewed cod, braised beef, pasta with ragu, and a large cutlet for the kids. The price was absolutely fair for the quality.

17/01/2026: A very nice bar, right next to Santa Lucia train station. Excellent sandwiches and, most importantly, friendly staff.

Trattoria Alla Basilica

19/12/2025: Vintage place but good pizza, good service, worth trying in my opinion (very quiet place)
08/11/2025: Had two Gorgonzola pizzas with a quart of wine which was the price of a glass of wine (6 euros). The waiter was lovely. He made us very happy. The salad was huge and nice. Very good value and great food. A quiet part of Venice and one of the nicest for that reason alone!
