Sunday lunch for two, overall pleasant but with a few disappointing notes. The fried food was really good, crispy and well-made. The pesto pasta, on the other hand, was average: decent, but far from the classic Ligurian pesto. The waiters were very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the person who appeared to be the head waiter: she was shouting among the tables outside, giving directions to her colleagues, all while vaping in the middle of the tables. A real shame, because it wouldn't take much to make the experience much more pleasant and professional.

We went tonight and it was really great. The food and the cocktails are great. But most of all the waitress are really nice and professional. Love them.

After a wonderful stroll along the Chiavari seafront, we decided to stop for lunch at Ancora Restaurant… and it turned out to be a truly perfect choice. After a short stroll searching for the right place, we stumbled upon this restaurant that immediately won us over. Aesthetically, it's a real gem: meticulously maintained, elegant, and very welcoming. The interiors, with vaulted stone ceilings, create a warm and refined atmosphere, while the exterior plays on beautiful contrasts between bronze and aquamarine tones. A modern, linear, and truly delightful style. The menu immediately inspired us, and we admit, choosing wasn't easy: the options are all inviting, with dishes that combine Ligurian tradition with contemporary touches and truly delicious pairings. We enjoyed spaghetti with clams, fried seafood, and crostoni, accompanied by an incredible Ligurian focaccia. All enhanced by a Valdobbiadene Prosecco with a light spicy aftertaste, perfect for enhancing the flavors of the dishes. The restaurant overlooks the Ligurian sea, offering a splendid view that makes the experience even more evocative. A truly pleasant atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a relaxing lunch. Another highly appreciated aspect is that the restaurant is easily accessible to people with disabilities, an important detail that demonstrates the great care they take for all their guests. The staff deserves a special mention: kind, professional, fast, and very attentive, making guests feel truly welcomed. And to round things off, they even served some desserts... simply out of this world! Carefully prepared, delicious, and perfect for ending the meal on a note of pure sweetness. A finale that made this experience even more memorable. An experience that left us with wonderful memories. A restaurant absolutely recommended for those visiting Chiavari and wanting to enjoy excellent cuisine in a special location. 🌊🍷 Definitely recommended!!

The food was good, the staff young but friendly and very kind. We had a great time, I can't recommend it enough.
