I recently spent some holiday time in the delightful village of Nesso. Nesso is on the lakeside of Lake Como. The village is wonderful full of quaint back streets revealing beautiful glimpses of Lake Como below the village. During my stay I regularly visited Bar Verigaa. This bar and adjoining shop are as delightful as the village. It is the hub of the local community; the bar is busy with locals and travellers alike. Both and made welcome by the hosts Veronica & Micky. These two are also involved in organising local events and festivals. They were superb. Prices in the bar and shop are exceptionally reasonable as they are priced for the local community. If you are visiting or just passing through Nesso please give Bar Verigaa a visited, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Recientemente pasé un tiempo de vacaciones en el encantador pueblo de Nesso. Nesso está a orillas del lago de Como. El pueblo es maravilloso lleno de pintorescas calles secundarias que revelan hermosas vistas del lago Como debajo del pueblo. Durante mi estancia visité regularmente Bar Verigaa. Este bar y la tienda contigua son tan encantadores como el pueblo. Es el centro de la comunidad local; el bar está ocupado con lugareños y viajeros por igual. Ambos y hecho bienvenido por los anfitriones Verónica & Micky. Estos dos participan también en la organización de eventos y festivales locales. Fueron magníficos. Los precios en el bar y la tienda son excepcionalmente razonables, ya que tienen un precio para la comunidad local. Si usted está de visita o simplemente de paso por Nesso por favor dar Bar Verigaa una visita, le puedo asegurar que no se decepcionará.

Discovered on a hike. Bar and grocery store of the past... beautiful environment, excellent food, very kind people. I recommend very fresh sandwiches and rop del biaas. Until next time
