I'm on holiday in Palermo, to recover from the local traffic trauma I stopped to drink in this classic neighborhood bar, as I imagined no frills, lots of substance. Honor to you.

01/02/2025: I was for over 30 years an international Chef. What I can honestly tell you is that this is one of the finest small family run restaurants I have ever been to eat and I have visited many countries and many places. I would say that the menu is not an extensive one but together with their daily specials offer plenty of choice. The restaurant was well appointed, clean and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Try the Zuppa de Cozza and the Spaghetti with clams also the house Red or White wines. Delicious. I absolutely no hesitancy in recommending you this eatery. It is just a few minutes walk from the imposing and delightful Cathedral.
11/01/2025: Beautiful place located near the cathedral. Excellent value for money. Generous portions and friendly staff. Absolutely recommended. A note of merit for the tagliatelle alla Monrealese.

Trattoria Al Capolinea Di Antonio Vercio

22/12/2024: Hemos estado en este lugar dos veces y volviendo para Navidad. Hemos disfrutado tanto de la pasta como de la pizza. Ser serenatado no dolió. El servicio es increíble y la memoria de los servidores es genial recordándonos. Es pequeño, con asientos interiores y exteriores y ligeramente alejado de los caminos trillados. Recomendaría probarlo y tiene un precio razonable
09/12/2024: Per la prima volta a Palermo, su consiglio del nostro Parroco che ci ha accompagnato a visitare questa città caotica per il traffico e ricca di tanta storia, chiese e monumenti, siamo entrati in questo locale nella centralissima Via Macheda, il cameriere Gustavo molto simpatico ci ha fatti sentire come a casa, ben accolti, il cibo di buona qualità, prezzo nella norma da città turistica.
