20/09/2025: As a family, we decided to choose this winery for a Sicilian wine tasting.
Mrs. Paola (owner with her husband Giacomo, an oenologist and researcher) welcomed us to the estate and spoke about their history, the traditions they have revived to enhance the land they live on, and shared their passion for this work with us.
She showed us both the vineyard, explaining the characteristics of the various grapes, and the winemaking process (currently underway), as well as their cellar, allowing us to stroll among the barrels and bottles of wine.
We chose the €30 tasting plus, which includes a tasting of five wines (vintage, Grillo, Bianco Riserva, Nero d'Avola, and Rosso Riserva) along with a platter of panelle, bruschetta, their own olives, almonds, and small samples of traditional Sicilian dishes such as tuna with onions and caponata.
The wines are exceptional, and you can taste their passion through their products.
We each stopped for a first course, highly recommended for the quality and generosity of the chef.
We had linguine with almond and lemon pesto and Mazara shrimp, couscous with fish soup, and busiate pasta with swordfish and eggplant.
The experience is absolutely worthwhile, highly recommended: it's a wonderful company that works hard, respecting a vision and philosophy that has been their guiding principle for over twenty years.
The staff was very friendly and available to answer our questions about the estate and the wine.
We look forward to future events on perpetual wine, given the curiosity instilled during the guided tour.
