Bar 900 In Alcamo

This will be a place we will return to regularly - I was thrilled with the selection and everything tasted really delicious! 😃, amazing atmosphere!

Excellent coffee, warm and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it.

Bar Storico, from Alcamo, I remembered the Arancine Top, but I was perplexed by the thick breading. I laughed, it was overcooked, and I gave up trying anything else. Only one with ragù.

The waitress was friendly, but the old man at the counter was extremely unfriendly. I felt uncomfortable paying, though the coffee was fine.

Excellent pastry shop, with excellent ice cream, special assorted pastries, special arancini.

Enjoyed a Spitzer & beer. We were served a small plate of warm sandwiches/pizza bread, chips & peanuts. Complimentary & excellent. They were delicious. Service was excellent!! Great atmosphere too. Extremely reasonable.

I can't stop eating. I'd say it's the best bar I've ever been to in my life, a miserable existence until now, but I've found meaning in bursting into this place.

I wanted to make a point about your latest product: although it was the right one, it didn't have the usual excellent features. I'm telling you this with the utmost sincerity and only because, as a loyal customer, I care about your consistently top-notch quality and your impeccable reputation. I hope this feedback will be seen for what it is: a gesture of appreciation for your work, so that we never let our guard down.

Wide selection at reasonable prices

I was in Alcamo and asked Marco, a friend from Alcamo, for advice on where to get something to eat without opting for a restaurant. On his recommendation, I went there. A historic business (since 1937) that includes a bar, pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and a snack bar. The staff at the counter and at the tables were friendly and helpful. Service was fast. I had lunch with a plate of gnocchi with lentils and an arancini with mushrooms, artichokes, cheese, and tomatoes, along with a delicious malt beer from Messina—the real Sicilian kind (not Massafra, to be clear), the one from Birrificio dello Stretto, which unfortunately isn't always available in the various bars. In the meantime, I charged my phone at one of the many available outlets (it's not often you find many). Finally, I ordered a (HUGE) "cioccopistacchio" cone filled with chopped chocolate (as a kid, I worked as an ice cream maker's assistant; just looking at it makes me understand the quality of the ice cream). I didn't get coffee because I'm waiting for my friend who's out of town, and he'll buy it for me. Recommended place. If I'm "unfriendly," I have to find a flaw, it's the lack of a hook in the bathroom to hang my backpack and jacket. But as an eternal traveler, I almost always find a solution to mishaps. If I can, I'll attach photos. I couldn't post photos in this review; for those curious, I used a toilet paper holder as a coat hook (but my backpack didn't weigh much). Since I can't, in this review I'll respond to those who consider it the most expensive bar in western Sicily, who I believe have been to very few. I paid €14.70 with table service (everything was brought upstairs by them) and, I forgot, the first course came with four (very full) teaspoons of cheese because I like to add plenty.
