Banshi In Udine

A regular customer for years together with my partner and every time we return to eat there we always reconfirm that this restaurant is the only one ever that makes real sushi in Udine. Forget the all you can eat please 😅

...what a drag...all these All you can eat do nothing but tarnish Japanese cuisine...made of approximation. Until recently, the only restaurant was Tokio in Viale Unità... to make sense of this reality, but it is always full. Luckily the good Bled has managed not to betray the true Japanese spirit, and at his place you can really eat Japanese food

Small place, very nice and welcoming. I recommend you book to make sure you get a seat. Traditional sushi restaurant with a large and really good selection of vegan and gluten-free sushi. Only restaurant where I found a 30 piece boat/plate with a selection of vegan and sg sushi. Note of merit: it is very easy to identify allergens thanks to the colored stickers next to each dish on the menu. Really recommended!

Hands down the best sushi in Udine. Every time I've gone to eat at their place I've left full and happy. It's true that the place isn't large, but it's absolutely better this way (in any case it takes a moment to book a table easily), this encourages quality over quantity. Award-winning quality and visible by the lack of potatoes, onions or other strange fried things placed specifically to cover the flat flavors of tasteless fish. Here salmon is salmon, tuna is tuna and prawn is prawn (I recommend their Uramaki with prawn and lime tartare). You pay like an à la carte restaurant, and rightly so for the reasons mentioned above. When I treat myself to a sushi-based lunch or dinner they are my first choice.

A little pretentious and expensive, ok food, nothing special

L’ambiente è carino anche il servizio andava bene, menu variegato, si notava una maggiore attenzione alle materie prime rispetto ad altri locali, tuttavia il ramen l’ho trovato insipido, ne ho mangiati di più buoni da altre parti. Uramaki molto buoni invece. Pollo fritto negli Udon buonissimo. I mochi non ci sono piaciuti. Tutto sommato alcune cose molto buone altre meno per noi, quindi 3 stelle

Il locale è molto più piccolo di come appare in foto, mentre i piatti sono molto più belli da vedere. Consiglio le capesante all'arancia.
