It's a shame they removed Purpu picci, my favorite dish, from the menu. Prices have been increased.

Super😋 a leap into Sicilian cuisine, everything excellent and abundant

I'm not giving 5 stars only because the room where we dined was really noisy and it wasn't pleasant not to hear each other when conversing at the table. Otherwise, I'd say the food was excellent: fresh fish, good fried and stuffed anchovies, very good first courses, prices in line with the quality, quick service, not overly friendly but efficient.

Great food, great service, spotlessly clean place. Highly recommended.

The place is welcoming, as is the staff, always attentive and helpful. On the night in question, the place was too noisy, making communication difficult at the table (this, obviously, was due to the rowdy patrons). The fried fish was a bit lacking in shrimp and squid, while the anchovies were plentiful. Donna Fugata wines were not available (a shame).

Spectacular fish of excellent quality, quantity more than enough to leave without hunger. Excellent price for the times we live in. Highly recommended

Delicious food, Fast service, Warm and friendly atmosphere.

We knew the place because we were sporadic customers but always customers who have a good memory, so we decided to celebrate our son's graduation, in the place where we had eaten well in the past. The food confirmed our expectations with that exquisiteness that characterizes the typical Sicilian dishes from appetizers to first and second courses that we had the pleasure of tasting. We asked for a bottle of DUCA that paired very well with the food ordered, but it was a shame that the girl who served us the wine when we uncorked it made it spill out of the bottle, spilling a good amount on the floor, "oh well it happens😅" Tasting the wine I realized that it was not cold or even fresh, practically room temperature!!! That's why when I uncorked it came out of the bottle, surprising even the girl who was serving us. I point out that the wine is room temperature and the young lady advises me to keep it in the basket with ice, "there will also be ice, but it's not the same as enjoying a good cold wine from the fridge and then kept in the basket during the meal" .... anyway we decide to consume it trusting in the ice..... We always asked the same girl for another glass which however did not arrive until after having requested it a second time from another girl who took our order initially Dear gentlemen, remember to put the bottles of wine in the fridge!!! TOO BAD AHHH I forgot, the two coffees ordered never arrived and so it's not done like that. The service provided by the girl who served us the wine was very disappointing, TOO BAD.

Lunedi 2 Giugno, sono ritornato al Banco di Sicilia con la mia famiglia, per un pranzo totalmente a base di pesce....eccellente come sempre. Abbiamo preso del crudo, panelle, sarde a baccafico, padellata di cozze, canolicchi, fasolari e vongole...sublime. Poi i primi e la famosa rosticceria, che i miei figli ne vanno matti. Atmosfera familiare, con la supervisione di Santi (il titolare), che ormai è un grande AMICO sia lui che la sua famiglia. Abbiamo atteso il giusto gustandoci un spumantino di benvenuto e poi alla fine le fantastiche bottigliette di meloncello, liquirizia e limoncello. Come sempre con il prezzo più che giusto e adeguato. Essendo che noi abbiamo mangiato esclusivamente pesce. Lo consiglio a TUTTI, se volete passare una serata spensierata e tranquilla......i ragazzi che servono....una meraviglia....tra cui c'e' Ludovico.....che è un "peperino". Continuate sempre così. Consiglio di rimanere a pian terreno, mangiare al piano superiore significa essere immersi nel rumore totale,dovevamo parlare a voce altissima fra noi per riuscire a capirci.Il cibo è ottimo,peccato che due di noi hanno mangiato il secondo quasi 30 min dopo gli altri.Servizio abbastanza caotico.
