Delicious granita with a fluffy brioche. Loved the variety of flavors. A little bit too hectic for us with people coming and going all time. Sitting outside would probably have been a better experience.

We thought it was an overrated place when we passed by, but it ended up being worth its reputation! So good that we went back. The French brioche is delicious, the granitas are excellent, full of flavors, and inexpensive. There's a bit of a wait, but it goes quickly and it's worth it. Plus, the place is very pretty.

If you are in Taormina you have to come here, a great place to eat delicious granita.

If you're in Taormina, stopping by Bam Bar is a MUST! If you go into the late afternoon hours, usually you can walk up to the restaurant with a minimal wait time, but the wait for a table can be lengthy during peak times. The restaurant has a number of tables both inside and outside and all staff greets you warmly and helpful in answering any questions you have about the menu. The granita menu board is shown with all the flavors for the day all with fresh ingredients. We went twice during our stay and ordered two different mixed granita, with the whipped cream on top, both around 5 Euros each. We also ordered a brioche to share for around 2 Euros, and we also ordered a Freddo each for a few Euros (including a shot of espresso with a little glob of coffee flavored granita). Everything was very tasty and amazing quality! We look forward to returning the next time we are in Taormina!
