Balthazar In Varese

I came across this place thanks to the positive reviews...it's all true. The owner Raffaele "Skizzo" (and his friends) make you feel immediately at ease. The food and cocktails are really quality (try the livellanza). Going to Varese without stopping at Balthazar is like visiting the city and not climbing the sacred mountain ;)

We return to this place every year, when we are in Varese. The cocktails are delicious, always accompanied by excellent and abundant appetizers and plus the environment is very beautiful. All the staff are very friendly, especially the owner Raffaele, very nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back, I recommend it, seeing is believing 🙂

I went to this cocktail bar with a friend and I must say that the experience was really pleasant. We had an excellent Negroni, accompanied by particular and refined appetizers, but what really made the evening special was meeting Raffaele (known as Skizzo), the owner. A very nice person, easy-going and very friendly: he immediately made us feel at ease, exchanging a chat and telling us some anecdotes with a smile. I will definitely come back as soon as I'm in Varese again. Highly recommended!
