Ballerini was a great finding on our way to the train station. I am glad we did not have breakfast in our hotel. The food is fresh and delicious. The pomodoro panini with focaccia bread is a must. And the pastries….it is hard to decide which one to take. The staff is very friendly and the place is very affordable. After finding this place, we came back for breakfast every day! 🫶🏼 Highly recommend this gem.

The staff were very kind to me, even though I can barely speak Italian. It's a place with a lot of locals, and it's a little far from the tourist areas, so you can spend a relaxing time there. And best of all, the brioche is delicious!

The coffee and croissants are really nice, but not the best I've ever had. Overall, though, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable! The staff are really nice, and it's one of the best "breakfast" experiences I've had.

Very good food, took one star off because they do not serve real coffee, but Nespresso. Personnel not very friendly, they sometimes ignore you. We did come back because the food really is very good and the have a cosy little terrace on the street.

Guido Guidi al Teatro

20/02/2026: It was a pleasure after many years to return to the theatre in this historic location, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and professional staff!
04/01/2026: A fantastic theater, it is one of the oldest still operating in Italy. Fun fact: It's possible to take a guided tour of the theater in its entirety, including the stage, backstage, dressing rooms, and the area beneath the stalls (I recommend it). 1) Guglielmo Marconi worked there before leaving for the United States; an ancestor of a wireless telephone he invented is still on the stage. 2) Duse's dressing room is still there, with a plaque dedicated to her.

16/01/2026: A small, cozy, and very authentic restaurant. The atmosphere here is imbued with a love for Italian tradition. The staff is incredibly welcoming; within just five minutes, you'll feel like an old family friend. The perfect place for a relaxing dinner with a glass of wine. I'm delighted that the establishment has retained its character and hasn't turned into a typical tourist attraction.
