Excellent craft beer, in many varieties. Excellent burgers, nice atmosphere. The staff is not particularly welcoming. We had difficulty getting the characteristics of the beers explained to us (which are many and different, and part of the reason for coming here). Slow service, not very professional or friendly and a little sloppy (We struggled to get attention to order a second beer, which never arrived, but was marked on the table's bill)

We were there for lunch. Unfortunately there was only a reduced menu. Nonetheless, the food was delicious beyond expectations. The meat was great, the fries and the salad were good. The service was a bit cold, probably because of the lunch rush. Price-performance ratio TOP. I would love to come back, preferably for dinner.

Balabiott è d’un posticino da tenere in considerazione se si capita a Domodossola. Hanno ottime birre di loro produzione e varietà di portate squisite. Un plauso lo meritano i garganelli del boscaiolo ma anche gli hamburger, i taglieri, le carni e i fritti. L’ambiente è carino e curato nei dettagli. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo nel trovarci posto in una serata caotica. Personale cortese e simpatico. E’ stata per noi un’esperienza davvero piacevole tant’è che ci siamo tornati per due sere di seguito.

Davvero colpiti dal posto. Birre maiuscole ma poi i cibi non sono i soliti frittini di scarsa qualità, ma dei piatti di qualità indiscutibile. Superconsigliato!

10/10/2024: It doesn't have Michelin stars only because Chef and owner Agostino doesn't want it, but it certainly deserves at least 2. The cuisine is excellent and refined with an eye to local tradition. The historic restaurant is beautiful with a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake. It also has a private dock for those wishing to arrive by boat. Overall, a beautiful place!
