A young and fantastic company! I highly recommend this bakery in Giurdignano. The reviews from those who tried it before me were true! The aromas and flavors of the earth, soft and flavorful focaccia (we regret not having ordered more!), rustici and soft brioches. The prices are very fair for the quality of the ingredients. The staff is friendly, helpful, and above all, smiling and welcoming! Thanks again for the tips on the way back 😊

If you're passing through Giurdignano, treat yourself and stop by Panificio Protopapa. Silvio, the baker, is a true master: every product is prepared with passion, and it shows. We tried filled sandwiches, rustici, pizzas, focaccias, pasticciotti, and the famous bowls with friselle and tomatoes... it's impossible to say which was better! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. A special mention goes to the shop assistant, Federica, who is welcoming, friendly, and always ready to offer advice. A simple yet extraordinary place, where you can feel the hospitality of the South, a must-visit for our entire vacation. Highly recommended, with all our heart and soul.

A small bakery with delicious artisanal products. We found them by chance, and returned the following year, and they remembered us. Their pastries are among the best we've tried in Puglia. Friendly and passionate.

While vacationing in Salento, my girlfriend and I discovered this bakery, perfect for picking up something tasty to take to the beach: from focaccia to Apulian specialties, to all kinds of stuffed sandwiches. We stopped by on a Sunday, so the selection was a bit smaller than on other days, but we loved what we tried. We promised the owner we'd return, but unfortunately, we couldn't due to time constraints, and we were truly disappointed. I recommend this place to anyone vacationing in the area: it's an excellent place to buy and enjoy something delicious while overlooking the blue sea. I hope to return soon.

Tuna Lounge Restaurant

04/05/2026: We had such a special dinner at Tuna Lounge and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel so welcome and looked after. The service was warm, attentive and genuine, which made the whole evening feel even more special. One of the best parts for us was how well they catered for my girlfriend’s gluten free requirements. They were really supportive and made it easy for us both to enjoy the same dish, which meant a lot. We both had the lobster pasta, with a gluten free version for her and the regular version for me, so we were still able to share the experience together. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality of the meal and the overall experience. A really memorable dinner and somewhere we already can’t wait to come back to. 5 stars.

The quality of the ingredients is simply extraordinary: you can taste the freshness of the local fish, brought in daily by local fishermen. Each dish is a tribute to tradition, treated with the respect that only such a noble product deserves. The real surprise was finding Breton sea urchins: an explosion of flavor that alone is worth the trip. The atmosphere makes everything perfect. The owner, Riccardo, is an exceptional host: extremely friendly, welcoming, and, above all, extremely knowledgeable. He guided us through the selection of dishes and wines with rare expertise, conveying all the passion he puts into his work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

03/05/2026: We ate at this little restaurant last night, and out of seven people, not a single one was disappointed. The food was delicious, with carefully crafted dishes and quality ingredients. The waiters were very kind and served us with great attention. The owner was also very kind and even gave us a little discount at the end. I recommend it and we'll be back! Thank you ♥️
