Baita Termen In Castione della presolana

La Baita del Termen is a little gem in the mountains. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and there are all the comforts: in addition to food and the toilet, you can find a pond and other easy-level hiking trails nearby. The quality of the food is exceptional, although some portions could be larger. There is space inside and outside, and in the outside area you can keep the dog. The hut can be reached on foot with a short path, about 20 minutes uphill (not too restful), or you can arrive with the jeep provided by the hut (€7 each for round trip - very high price considering that you it takes 3 minutes by car) or by chairlift (€5 return). The Wi-Fi provided by the cabin works quite well. I would recommend visiting it ☺️

Above average food of the huts/refuges I have visited so far. Wide choice of dishes, also well presented. Quantity and prices normal. If the weather permits I recommend the tables outside, it was a bit noisy inside. It is advisable to book

Refuge easily accessible even in the presence of children. It is located at 1630 meters above sea level and is about twenty minutes from the car park. The cuisine is excellent, as is the plating. A pleasure for the eyes and the palate. It is possible to stop for a snack while enjoying the excellent homemade cakes. In the summer months, just a few meters away, it is possible to rent kayaks and listen to good music. Young and well organized environment.

It's one of those obligatory destinations when you go to the Presolana area, easy to get to, it's not hard at all, but if anyone has problems getting up, just call the cabin and they'll send a pickup down. You approach it by car following the signs for Mount Pora, and, as the penultimate destination on the mountain, there is the Termen hut. From the car park you can get there on foot in 15/20 minutes. Once you reach the top, there are comfortable benches with tables, where you can drink a good coffee and taste various cakes, you can also stop for lunch, excellent typical mountain dishes. Prices normal. On weekends it is better to book.

Cabin managed in a dynamic and fun way. They often organize special evenings in summer with dinner inside or outside preceded by live music in a nearby area. The groups that play (I saw two) have always been of an excellent level. The food is not bad, with excellent cakes and excellent traditional mountain dishes. It's not a starred restaurant, but we've always had a good time. In winter it is crowded on weekends due to the courses, but you can always eat something within a reasonable time.

Unfortunately we went on a day with bad weather. The food is typical of a mountain hut without great pretensions, but still of reasonable quality. Acceptable price/quality ratio and still a pleasant place, suitable for children

La baita ristorante si trova sugli impianti sciistici di Monte Pora raggiungibile a piedi in 20 minuti o con seggiovia. Baita carina, ha molti posti sia esternamente che internamente, noi abbiamo preso foiade al tartufo, cervo al salmi con polenta, birra media, crostata di amaretti e caffè spendendo 45 euro, prezzo medio e buona qualità.
