Pleasant excursion above Como. View south over the plain to Milan and beyond. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished, offers typical dishes but also some original proposals.

It's a cosy baita alike in the outskirts of Como. They serve a good selection of mainly local Lombard food. Service is good and staff is super kind and helpful. A little noisy when it gets crowded (all weekends basically). Mind the bumpy road, the last 800m aren't well paved and need careful driving.

The food is really good, simple but tasty typical cuisine, excellent stuffed artichokes, very kind staff!!! A Saturday lunch surrounded by nature, no stress!

Good food, excellent service, beautiful mountain cabin environment. Too bad it's very noisy and you have to speak loudly to be heard.

simply fantastic, after about 1 km of dirt road passable by almost all cars you arrive at a terrace in the middle of the greenery which allows you to see as far as Milan, welcoming place, healthy food, courtesy and professionalism complete a beautiful picture, the only flaw they have decaf..... okay, you have to have some "defects"... :-)

5 stars only for the location, the rest I'll tell you in brief, our experience in this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. Located on a hill, the restaurant can be reached through a forest and a steep road which put our car to the test. Once we arrived, with very few customers present, we asked if it was possible to eat. The response was surprising. We would have to wait about 2 hours. Considering the demanding journey to reach the place and the unorganized welcome, the experience was well below expectations.

Siamo andati in questa meravigliosa baita una domenica di Ottobre, che dire posto meraviglioso con una vista spettacolare. Il locale davvero molto ospitale, il cibo ottimo ! Lo consiglio vivamente.

02/11/2024: Going to Tamola does not mean going to a hotel but is equivalent to entering a family, social and historical context. Approaching the counter and being able to dream and relive the life stories of the local population, smell the smells of the kitchen, priceless peace and tranquility... all seasoned with a family run business with disarming kindness and courtesy from times gone by, this is what the Tamola hotel is!! Homemade breakfast, excellent and full of flavours. Clean room and comfortable bed.. the kitchen is Tooooop according to the owner it is unpretentious in my opinion perfect and the dishes well executed and served. To top it all off, an exemplary and breathtaking view!! Please stay like this as long as you can!!
