Recommended by a friend, the place was an enchanting discovery; surrounded by nature, you can admire a splendid panorama. The road leading to the cabin is not easy; it requires a bit of an adventurous spirit and a tall car, because the path is dirt, with potholes and rocks—in short, a mountain road. But once you reach the place, the journey is worth the sacrifice. Here I found kindness and hospitality, as well as excellent food made with the finest ingredients; the rib steak was a real delight. Plus, it's a place perfect for a variety of occasions, lunches or dinners with friends, family, or a romantic getaway. In the evening, it offers a magical atmosphere framed by trees, warm lights, and an enchanting view. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended ❤️

Very nice ambience with panoramic view, relaxing background music and delightful plating. The food was sooo good and for that quality a really good price. All in all just a perfect experience.

The location and the view are breathtaking. Excellent for regenerating in the middle of nature with the whole family and enjoying the culinary delicacies of Lorenzo & Company. The dishes are typical of the area and our tradition. I always recommend booking, especially if you are a large group. http://www.baitapianvalle.it/contatti.html P.s.: a few meters from the Baita, you can visit for free the beautiful archaeological site 'Abitato di Pianvalle' from the pre-Roman era, known throughout the world for its historical importance, even if little valued and unknown even to many local inhabitants (but perhaps it is better this way). For those who are interested or for groups including foreigners, school groups, etc., I know that there are some very prepared local guides who illustrate this beautiful heritage of ours (ask Mr. Lorenzo who will surely have some contacts to suggest).

During the hike we stopped for a coffee. The restaurant terrace had a wonderful view of the dormitory. In the evening the restaurant must have a truly suggestive atmosphere, because there are many lights in the garden.

Pleasant excursion above Como. View south over the plain to Milan and beyond. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished, offers typical dishes but also some original proposals.

It's a cosy baita alike in the outskirts of Como. They serve a good selection of mainly local Lombard food. Service is good and staff is super kind and helpful. A little noisy when it gets crowded (all weekends basically). Mind the bumpy road, the last 800m aren't well paved and need careful driving.

The food is really good, simple but tasty typical cuisine, excellent stuffed artichokes, very kind staff!!! A Saturday lunch surrounded by nature, no stress!
