The refuge is easily accessible from Oga (a 10-minute walk), from Motte (via the ski slopes, but only in summer), or from Valdidentro, with a slightly more challenging climb. The food is excellent and the welcome is superb. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

A very charming and quaint refuge in the woods
The owner made us feel at home from the moment we called to make our reservation.
The menu isn't very long, but that's no bad thing: it features all the typical local dishes, the service is very fast, and the food is very good.
The best part was after dinner, when we were able to chat with the owner and his friends as if we'd known them for years.
P.S. How's the reindeer?!

The owner, Gaetano della Signora, and his daughter offered warm and friendly hospitality. Without being intrusive, they treated us with attentiveness and courtesy. However, one small disappointment was the lack of blueberry risotto at lunch... we'll be back to try the famous risotto.

The restaurant is a 10-minute walk from the main road (I believe you can also reach it by car with a permit). Excellent quality food and friendly staff.
It's a shame the quality/price ratio is questionable, with the final bill rising with items like €2.80 for a cover charge (paper placemat) or €7.50 for a medium beer (classic lager).
If it weren't for the higher-than-average prices, it would definitely be 4-star.

A charming, eclectic refuge. We ate excellent pizzoccheri! It can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes via a dirt path, accessible even with strollers, starting from the dirt parking lot.

Very beautiful and quaint atmosphere.
The service wasn't great. We were a couple, and then four more people arrived. They made us sit next to each other at a large table for 25-30 people, as if the place was full, even though there was no one there. The dishes were decent, but not exceptional for the price. The service charge was low, and you eat at a large table with paper napkins and thin wooden plates, which I don't know how hygienic they are.

Location certamente bella in baita ben curata e accogliente anche se un po' defilata dalle piste del comprensorio Oga-Le Motte. Menu certamente interessante e qualità del cibo certamente buona ma prezzi decisamente fuori misura per il contesto. Non si può spendere oltre 70 euro in due per un primo e un singolo antipasto. Quindi attenzione ! Vini solo in bottiglia con prezzi molto alti..Uomo avvisato mezzo salvato!
