Baia Monte Gelas has become a regular stop every time I visit this area. I'm grateful for the kindness, patience, and helpfulness of the owners, including the legendary Renzo, who always patiently accommodated my every request. The polenta is excellent, with the option of a quasi-all-you-can-eat menu if the entire table opts for the €24 menu with various sauce samples. The restrooms and restaurant are always clean and impeccable. The desserts are also excellent. Advance reservations are highly recommended, especially since you might not be able to find a table at the last minute.

For those who LOVE the mountains, the water flowing under your feet is also great, and especially at that height, you've found the right place. The first impression is seeing these massifs that naturally envelop you, and then guys, the game is done, it's all to be discovered, made sweet by doing nothing, walking on the paths or eating the proposals that they will make you on the spot.

Lunch at the beginning of June, really good and plentiful polenta, super generous toast for the children, excellent value for money, congratulations and see you next time 😊
