After a good experience a few years ago with friends, I returned for lunch last Sunday. Even better than I remembered! Sufficiently broad menu, abundant and delicious dishes, honest prices and attentive and very friendly service. All while sitting by the lit fireplace. Magical atmosphere. Thank you.

There's a huge difference between the exceptional quality of the dishes and the slowness of their preparation and subsequent service. The staff is limited compared to the number of tables and customers, which increased the wait times and required the waiters' attention. The restaurant is extremely difficult to reach due to uphill curves and a difficult-to-pass dirt road. The restaurant's interior is very noisy, and the restrooms are small.

Cabin on the Spina Verde of Como. Immersed in nature. The rustic environment is welcoming and especially those who manage the hut. Kind and smiling.

Baita informale nei boschi della Spina Verde. Necessaria la prenotazione. Piatti tipici della cucina comasca/lombarda. Polenta con brasato molto buono. Esperienza positiva, ci torneremo.

Baita raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata sui sentieri della Spina Verde.(possibile anche accedere con auto percorrendo uno sterrato). Locale rustico in mezzo al bosco a poca distanza dal punto panoramico della Croce di San Eutichio. Gestori cordialissimi ed attenti al cliente. La carta prevede menù a prezzo fisso oppure proposte tipiche del territorio cucinate in modo semplice.

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less-than-favorite reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.
08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

12/03/2025: The best pizza there is. The General has now become our must at least once a week. Pizzas of all types and more. Soft and with ingredients that are not missing. Fresh and quality ingredients. Try it to believe it.
