We were there a few weeks ago, and as always, the food was divine. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rustic feel of a mountain hut is palpable. In the summer, they let you eat outside in the park. After a walk among the trees at the nearby adventure park, a siesta is in order at the poet's hut.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from Pennapiedimonte. The restaurant is located within a man-made pine forest that also houses an adventure park.
We ordered grilled vegetables, cheese, and roast meat, and everything was excellent. Attentive service and great hospitality were also evident. The price was reasonable.

We went for lunch and had a great meal, but the service was especially good, as was the fast and efficient service. The young man who served us was very friendly without being intrusive. The place is very beautiful inside, perfectly integrated into the wooded setting. We'll definitely be back.

An authentic traditional experience in the middle of Abruzzo mountains. Great location at the head of many trails and just near an amazing recreational park. The menu features typical Abruzzo recipes and dishes. Home made pastas with truffles, porcini or wild boar red sauce are just amazing. Don’t miss the patate al coppo and the pallotte cacio e ove. Desserts are just incredible and you will be surprised by the quality and the presentation. All this in front of a crackling fireplace with the pitter patter of the rain on the windows…. Truly unique.

A small but charming and comfortable refuge nestled in the Piana delle Mele forest (Guardiagrele, CH), just a few meters from the adventure park and about 300 meters above the Andrea Bafile Shrine in Bocca di Valle. Friendly welcome, simple yet delicious traditional local dishes. Excellent value, generous portions.

We went here yesterday for lunch after making a reservation; they even let us sit near the fireplace upon request! The interior is rustic but well-kept and very beautiful. There's plenty of seating outside, especially for large groups. Minimal waits, simple but delicious food, and average prices. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly.
