First time in the area, a restaurant chosen based on Google reviews, with a fish-themed menu, turned out to be one of the best I've ever eaten. The staff were welcoming, professional, and pleasantly confidential, yet never excessive. The dishes were exquisite, elaborate, and of the highest quality, beautifully served and perfectly plated (the person I saw in the kitchen was definitely a chef). The owner's high-quality pastries, gluten- and lactose-free, ideal for those with lactose intolerances, were a pleasant surprise. All this accompanied by relaxing, romantic background music. Finally, the bill was definitely excellent value; given the exceptional quality, I would have expected to pay a little more.
