25/05/2025: I went to Pantofla on a seemingly promising evening, but the overall experience left some doubts. The organization of the service was rather rigid: we ate in pre-established shifts, and ours started at 7 pm with the obligation to vacate the table by 8:30 pm. A formula that can work in this period of the season, but which risks making the guest feel more like a cog than a customer. We ordered a mixed fried fish for two: a large portion and pleasant taste. Not unforgettable, but still well cooked and tasty enough not to completely disappoint expectations. Unfortunately, what really left a bitter taste in the mouth was the moment of the bill. I was asked if my son, who was just one year old, had consumed anything, with the intention of charging him for the cover charge as well. A request that to call out of place is an understatement: a truly unwelcoming gesture, which makes you reflect on the philosophy of the place in terms of hospitality. Would I go back? Most likely not. In an area full of excellent alternatives, the experience at Pantofla did not convince me to give it a second try.
