Restaurants this good are rarely found, I ate the pasta with beef ragù which was spectacular, plus very kind waiters.
There is a saying "the food can be as good as you want but they put it on the table in a kind way it becomes magical".

Il baffo is a small hotel restaurant with a very strategic position and excellent value for money.
The restaurant is also highly recommended if you want to taste good Valtellina food.

Il Baffo is a welcoming and authentic restaurant, perfect for those who want to discover the flavors of Valtellina. Typical dishes prepared with great care — the pizzoccheri were exceptional! The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the owners are very kind and always attentive to detail. A place where you eat very well and really feel at home. Highly recommended!

Excellent place! Very complete. I decided to celebrate my birthday there and I was very well attended to. We spent the night and the service was great, breakfast was also included in the morning. We even arrived after breakfast time and they still served us everything we asked for. Paolo and Nico congratulations on the service. I will definitely be back!

To those who have left negative reviews: they have definitely never been there! This restaurant is a true gem. Excellent food, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of passion. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. The staff is friendly, attentive and always with a smile. The environment is super welcoming, warm and familiar—it feels like home. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic and pleasant experience. I will definitely go back

Il Baffo in Chiuro, Sondrio exceeded all expectations. The staff was warm and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and spotless, and the food — especially the local dishes — was absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Some negative reviews don’t reflect the reality at all; this place is truly impeccable. A must-visit if you’re in the area! I can’t wait to go back. highly recommended!
