On the occasion of a university Spring School, I had the opportunity to try the restaurant for two social dinners. Although it is currently being renovated, the interiors recall an old style, with faded colors and soft lights. Despite this, the menu is extensive and the dishes were all moderately appreciated. Attentive and scrupulous staff in responding to the different needs.

Restaurants this good are rarely found, I ate the pasta with beef ragù which was spectacular, plus very kind waiters.
There is a saying "the food can be as good as you want but they put it on the table in a kind way it becomes magical".

Il baffo is a small hotel restaurant with a very strategic position and excellent value for money.
The restaurant is also highly recommended if you want to taste good Valtellina food.

Il Baffo is a welcoming and authentic restaurant, perfect for those who want to discover the flavors of Valtellina. Typical dishes prepared with great care — the pizzoccheri were exceptional! The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the owners are very kind and always attentive to detail. A place where you eat very well and really feel at home. Highly recommended!

Il Baffo in Chiuro, Sondrio exceeded all expectations. The staff was warm and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and spotless, and the food — especially the local dishes — was absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Some negative reviews don’t reflect the reality at all; this place is truly impeccable. A must-visit if you’re in the area! I can’t wait to go back. highly recommended!
