Baccano In Roma

A due passi dalla Fontana di Trevi , questo locale apparentemente turistico e simile ai moltissimi altri esistenti nella zona, offre una cucina non solo ricca di piatti della tradizione italiana e romana in particolare , ma di ottima qualità . Squisiti i carciofi alla giudia ( fra i migliori mai mangiati a Roma), spettacolare la parmigiana alla Baccano, ottimi e saporiti i tortellini al doppio formaggio , tenerissimo e gustoso il filetto al pepe verde. Per non parlare dei dolci. I mini bomboloni con cioccolata e crema ed il tiramisù preparato al tavolo sono stati davvero buonissimi. Il tutto in un ambiente gradevole, ampio , ma intimo allo stesso tempo e allietato dalla cortesia ed efficienza del personale di sala. Cosa abbastanza rara da trovare! Un particolare ringraziamento alla Sig.na Silvia per la sua gentilezza ed i suoi consigli preziosi. Prezzi in linea con il livello del ristorante e la qualità dei prodotti . Lo consiglio vivamente .

Parmi tous les déjeuners romains qui ont rythmé notre séjour, le Baccano se détache sans conteste. Un service impeccable, une carte qui nous a séduits par sa diversité, des plats savoureux qui ont comblé toutes nos attentes... Et quelle ambiance ! Le décor est magnifique et la chaleur de la terrasse, même par temps frais, a rendu notre repas inoubliable. Le Baccano est un incontournable à Rome, et nous y retournerons les yeux fermés lors de notre prochaine visite.

Came here twice, once for a late lunch and once for dinner. It's just a little walk from the Trevi fountain. Food here is absolutely amazing, especially the pasta. The menu also includes oysters, lobster rolls, and a big selection of buratta dishes. The Carbonara is one of the best I've had. Service on the other hand is spotty. During lunch we were seated next to the door even when other tables were open. Requesting a change, we were denied with the staff saying there was no option. During dinner the waiters resemble headless chickens running around rather than anything organized. A busy dinner service will have you wait 15 minutes for anyone to even ask if you want water after getting seated. A dish from our order was forgotten and in their rush, one of the pastas was a little undercooked (same one we ordered for lunch, so we had a point of comparison). None of these service shenanigans apply if you are Italian though, locals get served quite quickly.

This place was pretty good. Its a big improvement over the utter pig slop they serve in downtown Rome. The price hike is steep. The portions are small especially when it came to the appetizer. They are severely understaffed so make sure to order everything at once because the server won’t be back. Stay away from the international dishes, their attempt at the croq monsieur left us scratching our heads… This place needs a-lot of work. But its better than most things around it. Prices should be lowered

Excellent restaurant right next to the Trevi Fountain. The decoration is fantastic, the staff attentive. They are all smiling. Exceptional dishes. The incredible risotto, beef tartare and tiramisu are made in front of you at the table. It’s just an incredible atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping here!

Amazing fois gras dish with pear and fig bread. Veal with nectarines. The carbonara pasta was delicious. They also sold good bottles of wine for good prices.
