It was a pleasant surprise to find this delightful little place in the center of Lucca in a quiet little square, we were attracted by the pleasant music, the food and the kindness of Costantino and the staff.

I was at Baccanale in Lucca for dinner, I was immediately struck by the elegance of the place and the atmosphere, given in part by its central but discreet location, the staff is helpful and friendly, the portions of the dishes are abundant and the ingredients prime are of excellent quality, excellent value for money, highly recommended!

This is in my opinion one of the best places you will ever visit in Lucca. The service is super professional and they are very nice. The atmosphere is cozy and the choice of exterior and interior is well thought out. Not to mention THE FOOD. Go taste it for yourselves. I really dont need to say more. One million stars.

We probably picked a bit of an unfortunate night, the place was quite full already and they added an extra table for us. The food was ok, however did not have the high quality that we are used to in Italy. The service was very friendly but missed our main course orders and was quite insecure. We liked the atmosphere and you‘ll probably be happy with the experience another night, the staff is definitely very nice and has their hearts in right places, but unfortunately we could not give more than 3 stars :(

Il Baccanale stands out for its careful and attentive service and the location of the outdoor tables in the center of Lucca, sheltered from the general public. Charming atmosphere. Refined food.

A little jewel slightly off the beaten path and well worth visiting!!
It may give the impression of being only for drinks, but there are many other items on the menu including some amazing desserts... Try the cheesecake!
The service is gracious and with a smile, not hurried but quiet and calming. The owner Costa has intentionally designed it to be a relaxing place and it is very much just that!
The tables are new and elegant with a modern flare, the lights and decorations likewise. The table settings are beautiful in my wife said the napkins are some of the most beautiful She has seen in a month of traveling in France and Italy.
If you're looking for a quiet place to end the day this might just be the perfect place!
