We visited this pub for the Octoberfest themed evening and had a great meal. Excellent food, excellent beer, and quick, friendly service. We'll be back!

Cool bar but we waited a comically long 30mins for 2 drinks.we only popped in while passing for drinks,the bar was medium busy.the waitress took our drink order but they put the order in a queue at the bar for one bar tender to serve & queue up all the drinks for the waitress to collect.seems a bad system considering there are other staff available to help,its certainly a slow system anyway!

An absolutely amazing bar with great drinks and prices. The atmosphere was welcoming, and after a round of drinks, we were treated like locals. The real stars of this place, though, were the bartenders; they were kind, friendly, and so personable that by the end, we were all laughing together about all sorts of things. A real gem of a place! Never mind… came here 2 nights after and the bartenders were not as nice. So disappointing.

06/10/2025: Room 261. The room overlooks a road where high-speed vehicles pass all night. The noise is annoying and constant. Earplugs are highly recommended. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are dated and furnished with cheap furniture. The common areas are spacious and well-kept.
