Baccà In Ancona

A bar that also serves first courses and salads. Having parked nearby, I stopped for a bite to eat. I was offered a selection of first courses, including a pasta dish with white fish sauce for €10. I had to wait 10 minutes because the pasta was cooked to order. The first course was excellent. See photo. As stated, there is no table service, so plastic plates should be disposed of in the appropriate bins. Another day, I ordered a second course: baccana6cin, potatoes and olives, for €22.00. Recommended.

Baccà Café is one of those spots you instantly want to come back to. The place sits right by the harbor, offering a beautiful view that makes it perfect for relaxing afternoons or laid-back evenings. Breakfasts with amazing brioche. For lunch, a first course espresso or salads and the like. The view of the Mole is exceptional.

Bar overlooking the harbor and the Mole Vanvitelliana. I stopped for a quick lunch (Greek salad topped with tzatziki and a small sandwich, €10). Outdoor seating is available, including shared seating. There's no table service. The two people serving were kind and attentive ("Do you want a sauce? Do you want bread? Is one slice really enough?") and they were unhurried despite the short (but not long) line. The salad and sandwich were good, too; fresh, flavorful ingredients. Excellent experience.
