Amazing food in the heart of Venice. We had aubergine parmigiana that was melting in our mouth, sea bass very well prepared and roast the beef perfectly cooked. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant super cosy! Truly recommend it!

An excellent place with a very nice atmosphere. We followed the advice of the owner Marco for the dinner and were not disappointed! The rest of the staff were also very friendly. 5 stars indeed!

We loved this place. Very warm welcome, and both owner and waitress made us feel like family. We were encouraged to relax and take our time, though would recommend booking. Nonna's meatballs come especially recommended, though the Fritto Misto Siciliano and Pasta Norma were very good too. If we'd stayed in Venice longer we'd try more - will make an effort to go back next time.

This is by far one of the best restaurants I've been to Italy. My professor recommended this place to me, and she definitely did not steer me wrong. The service was impeccable, the food was to die for, and the ambience was just wonderful. I loved all of the hand drawn pictures hanging from the ceiling. Best Sicilian food I've ever had, and that includes the food I had in Catania.

Everything delicious. I ate fish with pesto which was wonderful. The real Sicilian canolli. The service is impeccable. As I don't eat gluten, they adapted gluten-free cassatina. This was the best restaurant in Venice.

À deux pas de la Fondation Prada, ce petit restaurant sicilien est particulièrement bon et agréable. Le chef est très accueillant et on se sent vite comme à la maison. Les plats sont excellents tout spécialement la caponata qui était très réussie Très bon poisson

Cela fait des années que je connais ce petit restaurant sicilien dans le quartier de San Polo à Venise. On y mange vraiment très bien et je vous le recommande !!! En entrée caponata do melanzane puis des pasta alla Norma. Trop trop Bon Je n’ai pas craqué pour un dessert mais j’aurais dû …. Mention particulière ai service top et au patron qui parle bien français d’ailleurs. Plafond décoré avec des dessins d’enfants d’ailleurs.

Ristorante Pizzeria Maga Mago'

02/09/2024: Haben in einer Gruppe von 3 Personen mit kleinem Hund direkt einen Platz am Abend bekommen. Pizza siciliana war geschmacklich gut, Teig lecker. Leider war die Menge der Acciughe eher traurig. Parmiggiana di Melanzane war okay, aber geschmacklich auch kein Höhepunkt. Es fehlte irgendwie das gewisse Etwas. Fritto Misto war hingegen gut. Portionsgröße angemessen, sehr dünne Panade und auch nicht zu lang frittiert. Im Anschluss 3 Cafe lungo bestellt, diese wurden von einer Bedienung vergessen. Nach Hinweis hat es trotzdem sehr lange gedauert und am Ende waren es keine Cafe lungo. Deshalb am Ende zwei Punkte Abzug, aber das Potenzial für mehr ist vorhanden.
07/08/2024: Really excellent Sicilian appetizer and mixed fried food. Friendly, kind and competent owners. Wide availability of drinks. I will definitely return. Super recommended place.
