Great gelateria! We tested 3 different flavors and they were all great either fruits / sorbeto or more creamy one! We did quite a lot of good gelateria in Venice and Bacaro del gelato is clearly one of the bests ! Other good point, just outside of the gelateria, it is easy to seat on the edge of the canal to enjoy your ice-cream.

I discovered this ice cream parlor by chance and what a wonderful surprise it was. The pistachio ice cream was without a doubt the best I have ever tasted: full of flavour, wonderfully creamy and the flavor of the ingredients really came through. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Venice. Highly recommended for lovers of really good ice cream!

Good ice cream, they have few flavors but excellent choice with combinations. Really good white chocolate and cream! Prices a little high but within the Venetian average! I'll be back

Hier wordt verrukkelijk ijs gemaakt. Wij proefden o.a. het pistache ijs, dat echt naar pistachenoten smaakt. Geen zitplaatsen, dus alleen om uit de hand te eten, al wandelend langs het pittoreske watertje. Tot ‘s avonds laat open. Vriendelijke service. Aanrader!

Excelente helado y crepes artesanales con servicio amable. Generosas porciones a un precio razonable. El moretto pistacho era maravilloso, al igual que cada sabor que probamos en dos visitas, incluyendo crema y ciocciolato. También ofrecieron una selección sin lácteos. No hay asientos en la tienda, pero un montón de lugares en el puente o borde del canal si el tiempo es agradable.

23/05/2025: The best meal we had in Venice. We ordered two meat and vegetable platters just right for six people to share, and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Great service, too, despite arriving just before closing time. 100% recommended.
17/05/2025: Very nice place, not so crowded as in the touristic part of Venice (as it is located in canarezzio). It serves big and tasty portions but, it's a little bit overpriced! The atmosphere is just exceptional, especially at sunset.
