I recently finished dinner with my family at the renowned restaurant "Bacaro La Baia dei PorcI"... and what can I say... my expectations were completely different.
I'm sticking with a NEGATIVE review for the following reasons:
- a tepid, if not cold, appetizer dish, which, after asking why... was reported to be served that way... I remain skeptical;
- service lacking elegance in both presentation and table service; the waiters were confused.
I don't think I'd return; perhaps I just had a bad night. However, let's hope Mr. Borghese and his fellow diners judged it well.

Very nice, well-maintained place in a great location for seeing the city of Chioggia.
Excellent food, fresh fish, and friendly and helpful staff.
A pleasant discovery, definitely worth considering for future occasions.

We had dinner here and I feel like giving it:
5 stars for the food: good, high-quality, well-prepared, and with adequate portions.
3 stars for the atmosphere: the place is nice, the tables are small, but that's unavoidable because there's not much space. The table setting could be improved; in my opinion, the (expensive) prices of the dishes shouldn't just refer to the quality of the food but should also include the rest.
1 star for the service: we arrived at 8:20 instead of 8:00 due to parking difficulties (we tried calling several times to let them know, but they never answered). They kindly kept our table, and we sat down without anyone telling us that the delay would have meant faster service. We ate, and at 9:40, my husband and son got up to pay. I was still seated and would have gotten up in two minutes, but instead, a waitress came to remove the tablecloth from our table, followed by another waitress with the new tablecloth, and the owner, who in a tasteless way, asked me to get up. I understand there were other people who needed to be seated, but I've never seen the tablecloth removed while people were still sitting, not even in the most basic pizzerias. What a shame.

Nonostante il locale fosse pieno, hanno ricavato un posto per noi e per il nostro cagnolino, estremamente flessibili e disponibili dunque, oltre che accoglienti.
Cassopipa TOP, un'esplosione di gusto.
Ottimo il pescato.
Distolte dai primi (che comunque non avremmo preso) per l'attesa che effettivamente, guardandoci intorno, sembrava importante. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il consiglio.

È stato un piacere pranzare in questo locale ,un viaggio una scoperta una conquista ,qui si mangia con il cuore e con gli occhi catturati dalla cura dei particolari gusto eleganza e simpatia ,oggetti curiosi collocati perfettamente in ogni angolo che ti riportano indietro nel tempo ,il personale gentile attento ,la padrona di casa una signora cordiale premurosa affettuosa sorridente mai invadente e precisa nella spiegazione dei piatti ,un piatto di crudo spettacolare un antipasto ricco e saporito ,i primi belli da vedere e gustosi ,la grigliata di pesce ricca fresca ,appetitosa ,bellissimi i secchielli porta ghiaccio per le bottiglie di vino una chicca che non avevo mai visto prima .complimenti a voi !a presto .
