Nice atmosphere compensates the low quality of food.

November 1, 2024. Place on the edge of the canal. Gorgeous weather for eating outdoors. Morgan true leader of his club. Very good at managing tables and guests. Excellent service, friendly staff, good food. Excellent scallops and mussels. Excellent spaghetti marinara, good spaghetti vongole. Excellent mixed frying, good pan-fried cuttlefish. We recommend it. Mentioned beforehand: we found the location nice and the menu card was appealing. No attention was paid to the price. The service was friendly and nice, sometimes accommodating. The restaurant is also nicely located on the canal, relatively close to the boat station, which ensures turnover. I think this is also the reason why they don't focus on quality like other places. Everything looks relatively clean. But the price-performance ratio isn't right, so the portions are rather small and the taste is on the average level. The spaghetti we ordered was hard, uncooked (al dente is something different...) and bland. These were served cold on top - so we asked whether they had been left out or had been sent back by another guest. A Wienerschnitzel with fries was also ordered. Both looked and tasted like they came from a cheap discount store (frozen). Fries very sparse! Demanding such prices for this borders on impertinent. I don't think we'll try again. Too bad.

Suggestive location and excellent service; the mussels peppered (exceptional with homemade sauce) and spaghetti al nero (very good taste) were taken. It is excellent to accompany the drink with a good spritz. Really competitive price for what you eat. Highly recommended both for lunch and for an excellent dinner overlooking a canal in Chioggia🌅

Excellent typical restaurant to have a meal along the banks of the Vena canal, in the historic center of Chioggia. The staff welcomes guests with great professionalism and discretion, offering useful advice on the proposed courses, if requested. All the dishes tested turned out to be of excellent quality: the cuttlefish alla chioggiotta, the fried squid with polenta, the stewed cuttlefish "in tecia" were wonderful, but also the homemade biscuit cream. Good quality/price ratio. Recommended for all lovers of traditional popular venues.

Even though we had reached the photo finish, it was around 2.30pm. They served us two excellent pizzas. Medium "serious" 500 cc beer 😎 Kind and helpful
