Excellent cassata ice cream and zuppa inglese with delicious cream!!

Ice cream shop on the pedestrian area of ​​the seafront, GOOD quality of ice cream, service needs updating, STAFF WITHOUT WILL TO WORK and to say that the ice cream shop was empty (there were 5 of us in line at the checkout and no customers at the counter and the three saleswomen behind the counter chatting) the cashier arrived huffing and puffing and gave us the receipt (thinking she was doing us a favor) two cones, one with cream, €7.50. In Bari you pay the same but for three cones all with CREAM and the quality perhaps even higher (KIND ice cream shop), except for the quality of the product and a saleswoman with desire and professionalism (the girl perhaps the oldest of the three with long straight black hair).

The staff was rude, especially the skinny brunette. The ice cream was good overall. Prices were average.

We were in Trani last night, and for years now, Babayaga has been a regular stop when we return home, but yesterday something went wrong: the ice cream was almost melted, too "soft", the salted caramel was not the same as the previous times, too sweet and not very consistent, and the rum brittle only tasted of peanuts since there were too many of them!

I have no idea what's going wrong here, but I bought ice cream there a few times and it was good. Then I chose the Nutella flavor, and it was plain Nutella! Not Nutella ice cream, but the cream! I had to throw it away; it was completely inedible.

This is the best gelato I have ever had in my life. I have visited Italy multiple times and have never tried a gelato as good as this one. The gelato is extremely creamy. It’s not icy or watery. The flavors were spectacular, we ordered pistachio, Nutella, white chocolate. The pistachio flavor was extremely good, but the Nutella was definitely the standout flavor. It literally tasted like cold Nutella, but in the best way possible. We also added fresh cream to our gelato and it was the most delicious thing we have ever had. They also freshly made the waffle cones and it was the perfect texture and just warm enough. For three flavors, a large cone, cream, toppings it was six euros. We found that to be extremely reasonably priced as we are used to paying $10 an ice cream in Miami. I highly recommend this place for authentic gelato.
