Lively place with delicious food. It has the famous little window for selling wine, which is really cool.

Walked by and glad we stopped for dinner here tonight. This spot has some of the best food I have ever eaten!!

Fair price for dishes worthy of haute cuisine. Relaxed and modern atmosphere.

Located a little outside the most touristy area of Florence, Babae is a great option for a quick lunch with an excellent variety of food. With a fresh approach to the dishes they serve, they consistently combine high-quality ingredients with flavorful preparations and beautiful presentation. It’s one of those places where you see a dish arriving at another table and immediately think, “Oh, I should have ordered that,” but then your own dish arrives looking just as good. It’s also one of those places where everyone ends up tasting each other’s food because everything looks so tempting. The atmosphere is very casual, with unpretentious decor, making it the perfect place to sit down with friends or family, enjoy a good meal, and spend some quality time together with a well-crafted drink on the side (they offer excellent house-made beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The salmon carpaccio disappears from the plate almost magically—not because the portion is small, but because it’s that delicious. The tuna tartare is just as impressive: light, fresh, generous, and full of flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly, with excellent sauces to match. The service is solid and friendly, much like people generally are in this beautiful part of Italy. It’s an excellent spot to stop when hunger hits while exploring the south side of the Arno in Florence. And if there’s a wait, don’t miss the chance to grab a glass of wine from the traditional finestra di vino. And even if you’ve already been seated, step outside and order one anyway—it’s a classic Tuscan experience.

The food and the wine were AMAZING 🤤 If we had more time that day we surely would have spent the whole day there. They are probably not most „untouristy“ spot but still we were amazed of how nice it was.

The place is amazing, the vegan food is well-prepared and delicious, the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is spectacular. We went back the next day for the wine window experience; it's a must-visit.

We came to this place for dinner based on a Top Jaw recommendation. The food was good, but unfortunately, there was a rib bone in my ravioli. I guess the positive way to look at it is that the meat in the ravioli was fresh. So fresh that there was a bone in it. Otherwise, this was a nice spot.

Cute place! We went for an aperitivi around 4pm and enjoyed some wines and limoncello spritz!
