Azotea In Torino

Second time here. The welcome was lovely, the girls who served us during dinner were kind, but otherwise, it was a bit of a flop. The manager who took our order gave us good directions without overdoing it with the dishes, but when I asked for the spicy drink, she told me it was almost imperceptible, and I replied that it wasn't actually a problem. She took it as a challenge, probably because my drink contained a far more than imperceptible amount of spiciness. On the contrary!! The food was more appealing on paper than it tasted. The salmon had gone bad (it tasted of bleach, so it was either not good or had been stored very poorly), and we eat a lot of ceviche. Unfortunately, the acid in the sauce couldn't cover that flavor. We mentioned this to the first waitress. The rest of the dishes were good, especially the last two. Perhaps the restaurateurs were too inexperienced and a bit pretentious, because the price on the receipt remained unchanged, not even eliminating the "gone bad" dish. It was a shame.

Azotea offers an elegant and refined setting, with a pleasant atmosphere for a dinner with friends or as a couple. The view and decor contribute to a refined atmosphere, ideal for a special evening. I enjoyed beautifully presented dishes, made with good-quality ingredients: not everything was Michelin-starred, but the menu offers interesting choices, and the service was generally attentive and discreet. The staff is courteous and helpful, capable of welcoming you without being overbearing. It wasn't the best experience of my life, but it's definitely worth a visit for those looking for a stylish venue, good food, and a pleasant atmosphere.

The tasting menu is sensational fireworks 🤩

Unique flavors, fun pairings. I spent a day in Turin and ended my day here. I didn't choose the tasting menu; I ordered three dishes à la carte plus a dessert, but I still asked for a cocktail pairing. The staff helped me choose what I'd like to drink based on my personal tastes and the dishes in question; I felt it was a very free but thoughtful choice. The staff was visibly well-trained. We even chose a half-cocktail between the savory and dessert courses. The result was surprising, truly a discovery of flavors I hadn't expected from either the dishes or the drinks, or even from the combination of the two. An interesting and fun experience, and credit to the staff for understanding what was right for me and providing the best advice.

I went to Azotea for dinner with my family, curious to try the chef's acclaimed fusion cuisine. Some dishes lived up to expectations, like the empanadas and tamales. It was a shame, however, that the ceviche (€22) was too acidic and way overpriced for the amount I was served. The pork dumplings were bland, the duck was tough, and the sauce was fermented cassava, of questionable origin and milky in color, flavor, and consistency. The three desserts and cocktails were very good. Overall, I didn't have a terrible experience, but I didn't find it to be good value (€269 for four people), and I wasn't at all pleased to see that none of the chefs wore chef's hats. On a positive note, the location and the very knowledgeable service, albeit a bit snobbish and cold, were excellent.

Everything is perfect. Service is incredible, waiter and waitress are nice, have the smile, patient with customer. 👌 The food is amazing & sooo tasty. The quality of every meal surprised me so much. Not to mention the best cocktails in town. The one with whisky is just the best cocktail i ever had. I definitely recomend this place, for both drinks and meals and i’d come back for sure !

What a wonderful surprise! A cuisine that deserves our full attention: thoughtful, original, and full of flavor. The cocktails, meanwhile, go far beyond surprise; they are a true delight for connoisseurs. This is a place I highly recommend and can't wait to return to. "I'll be back"... or rather, "I'm Como back!"

Truly excellent restaurant. We had a true experience of tastes and flavors, accompanied by well-recommended and excellently prepared drinks, all in a unique, well-kept, and welcoming setting. The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a try.
