This farmhouse is located on a hill near Scario, surrounded by olive groves and with a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Scario and Policastro. The way to reach the farm is a bit uncomfortable because it is uphill and not well asphalted, but the sacrifice is worth it. In fact, if you want to eat typical Cilento dishes and above all healthy foods cooked as they once were, you have come to the right place. The Palazzone appetizer is rich in tastings of typical Cilento cheeses and cured meats, as well as vegetables and fried courgette flowers. The first courses are all excellent, both the gnocchi, the ravioli and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Even among the meat main courses there is a lot of choice, I really liked the grilled lamb. The side dishes are also rich and tasty, among which in addition to the French fries, the chicory with potatoes and above all the aubergines with sauce stuffed with bread, eggs and cheese, or the so-called Cilento buttered mulignane, stand out. Among the desserts, the typical Cilento cannoli, filled with an exquisite custard, is certainly worth tasting.

Very good food! Home-grown vegetables. Service very friendly and accommodating. Price/performance ok. Unfortunately you can only camp. We were traveling with the camper.

Excellent place for quality/quantity/price ratio away from the tourist places. Nice place with a great view. There is always ample parking if people park well. The service and the place are good too. Reservations are recommended. Pay attention to the navigator which, if it is set to a short route, can take you onto dirt and bumpy roads.

Locale in zona marcaneto , si sale un po’ per raggiungerlo, hanno molti prodotti della loro terra (km zero) , buoni gli antipasti classici cimentani, i primi con pasta fatta in casa, per secondo misto di carne , salsicce al finocchietto tutti buonissimi, il titolare spiega bene i piatti per capire le esigenze dei clienti. Conto onestissimo.
