A few years ago I had the pleasure of personally meeting the owners of this farmhouse located in the Rocca Canavese countryside. The a la carte menu offers a wide choice of genuine and excellent quality dishes!!!! In some periods they offer themed menus: bagna cauda, ​​all appetizers, polenta, mixed Piedmontese fruit.... I went back for the last Christmas lunch!!!! A success!!!!

Sono un cliente abituale,e il livello di preparazione e idea del prodotto e qualcosa di straordinario e mai banale..Ogni volta che ci sono stato,non sono mai rimasto deluso..Il locale e spettacolare in ogni suo angolo,pulito e soprattutto deliziato dalla splendida Francesca che in sala delizia i suoi clienti con simpatia educazione e professionalità..La cucina e una libine per il palato e mischia originalità con piatti puramente storici piemontesi..Roberta,cuoca e propietaria,fa rispecchiare nei suoi piatti tutto l'amore che ha per il suo lavoro,e il risultato finale e imponente..

Let me start by saying that I went for dinner with 2 friends, booking a few days in advance, the restaurant located on the 1st floor of a farmhouse, in a small village in Rocca: warm, welcoming with young staff, wooden tables prepared with simple but elegant care at the time itself, bright but not dazzling, a light chatter announced an almost full place (Friday evening). The menu was fixed with a variation only on the 2nd course: everything traditional, the mixed starter was decent, the rest very good (homemade gnocchi with pumpkin and toma cream, braised suckling pig with potatoes, crouton with egg and truffle cream), Nebbiolo excellent, appreciable desserts. The price was mid range.

Let me start by saying that I come from the province of Pavia. What one is looking for is to eat well, and here I found it. Everything is excellent, the goat cheeses are special. Beautiful day, beautiful places

Pranzo domenicale moooolto piacevole! Antipasti squisiti (fiore di zucca ripieni, fettina di pane con lardo miele e noci, carne cruna, cestino con insalata russa), primo gnocchi ai 4 formaggi (peccato che erano molto al denti perché la crema era ottima), secondo di carne che si tagliava con un grissino accompagnato dalle patate!!! Dolce a scelta e ho preso una bella fetta di cheesecake. Per quanto riguarda il posto un fantastico casolare restaurato, immerso nel verde, con a pochi passi una distesa collinare attrezzata (dove c’è possibilità di affittare l’area per grigliate), giochi per bambini, cortile ombreggiato dove rilassarsi, poco più distante le stalle con caprette e attrezzi agricoli che mia figlia ha apprezzato moltissimo!!!!
