We arrived here in 2023 after an overnight drive, stopping for breakfast. The cappuccino and the freshly toasted ciabatta bread with tomato and mozzarella were a revelation :-) It felt like we had finally arrived in Italy. - I'm so glad I found this rest stop again on Google Maps when planning my trip. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop here again.

Stop by on December 28th at 8 pm. Quick and friendly service. The guy at the cash register was busy cleaning but very cheerful and quick to meet our needs. You managed to put more than one smile on my face, even though the trip from Germany was tiring due to a bereavement. The sandwich was very hot, just the way we like it, and cooked to perfection. I live in Germany, and when I return to Italy, I stop at Autogrill. Finding people like that at Italian Autogrills is difficult and rare. A person who speaks German well is an added value that shouldn't be underestimated, and that doesn't always happen. So, thank you so much ❤️.

I would have given 5 stars only for the guy at the cashier (I assume the manager), for his helpfulness and kindness. It's a shame about the older colleague, who was rude and surly.

Trattoria Al Ponte x La Gustosa

14/11/2025: Trattoria, but it's a real restaurant, with great attention to detail, featuring two large dining rooms, outdoor seating, and convenient parking. Refined, high-quality, and plentiful dishes, they also offer take-out pizza... excellent value for money. I recommend it 👍

La Tigella

15/01/2026: Near Piazza San Zeno in Verona, we find La Tigella, a restaurant specializing in tigelleria (a traditional Italian tigelleria) with an ALL-YOU-CAN-IT service. We went yesterday with a reservation for a family event. The atmosphere was welcoming (some issues with the entrance door, as it was quite difficult to open). The service was excellent, the food was very good and flavorful. The service was efficient, quick, and fast. The price was right for the occasion. The space reserved for us was small, but not particularly large. I found it very nice and private, but it was near the wall and/or the entrance to the place itself, making it difficult to get in and out.
13/01/2026: Everything was good except that the Fork discount was not applied.
