I didn't know this place, but I ate like a god. You know when you eat at your grandmother's and she makes you that dish that only she knows how to make and that you could eat forever? Well, I found it here... fabulous penne alla puttanesca. Congratulations!

I walked in, and I was surprised; I hadn't expected such a gem at 11 p.m., while walking a friend's dog. The smell of meat called to me. I instinctively knew it: he had magic, unspoken, unseen. But as a colleague, I knew his hands could follow that passion within him. I chose the bread, morbidone, and began to see the best combinations, below left, something that would ignite my gustatory pupils... so many countries, but this meat almost bloody. I sat outside, counted the seconds of the meat as I asked, stood up, and from experience, it was ready, just in the time I asked for. The caramelized onion cooked with vinegar, but with a particular, as if combined with the apple meat, gave off a slight sting. The blood is there as it darkens thanks to the light. The cheddar and the bacon go hand in hand... A real blast if you want some freestyle experience and precision... Thank you, maestro. The chips are also cooked perfectly for takeout, and they arrive warm but crispy at home after a walk with my little friend.

Truly an excellent experience! The burgers were simply delicious. You could taste the quality in every bite! The service was super fast and super friendly, the staff always smiling and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere is also truly welcoming, well-kept, and pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

We weren't sure where to eat, and while walking around Catania we came across this little restaurant. The food was excellent. We had a simple pasta with ragù, and it was one of the best we've ever had! If you're passing through, stop by, or go there on your own. You won't regret it. It offers a nice, extensive menu of sandwiches, first courses, and second courses.

15/11/2025: My wife and I were there this summer, it was truly amazing. We've been to many Michelin-starred restaurants, and Coria is truly amazing. From the food to the service, and a great sommelier, it's a truly beautiful location. The only flaw was that they let customers in wearing shorts and t-shirts (which is not a good thing for a Michelin-starred restaurant). Otherwise, it was super. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

After its experience in Caltagirone, today in Catania the restaurant confirms its identity: a place where innovation and tradition meet in balance, without the excess that often characterizes contemporary Michelin-starred cuisine. Here, every dish tells a story, never shouted but whispered with elegance and respect for the raw ingredients. The staff is impeccable, welcoming without formality; and the two chefs, in addition to being extraordinary professionals, are authentic people, the kind who cook with their hearts even before their hands. Coria is more than just a restaurant: it is an experience of harmony between taste, art, and humanity. An excellence that honors Sicily—and those who still believe that good food is an act of love.

18/11/2025: What a spectacle. Absolutely family-run, and you truly feel like you're part of the family, from A to Z. A small, intimate place with a myriad of wines of all kinds, from local to more refined and obviously more expensive ones. The food is excellent; they only offer "aperitivos," but they're quite filling. Since there were two of us, we ordered the medium-sized one, which was more than adequate, and I also wanted to try their sandwich (upon request) with top-notch mortadella, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. What can I say, everything was fantastic! We tried three different glasses of wine, mostly local, each one better than the last. We enjoyed it so much that we even bought a small selection of typical Sicilian products, from nougat to almond paste. The owners are extremely friendly and down-to-earth! The tables are tiny, but perfect for a quick bite and a good glass of wine! Availability, friendliness, kindness, deliciousness, a wide selection of products, and a family atmosphere make this little boutique a jewel from another era. Here, we experienced the true Sicilian spirit and warmth that distinguishes us. They delighted us so much that they even gave us a significant discount and a much-appreciated gift. I'd like to thank the owners again, who are top-notch. Thank you, you made us feel like family. Highly recommended! N.B.: They also offer shipping. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and long live you.
18/11/2025: This place is simply perfect! A gem at the foot of Mount Etna, the ideal spot to sample all the wines of the region or of Sicily, but not only wines, also amaros, marsalas, and various liqueurs. Pippo is fantastic! He served us incredibly well—funny, friendly, informative—and prepared several paninis for us, as well as cheese and salumi platters. After tasting several (many) wines, we bought bottles for a friend's wedding, and he even gave me a bottle as a gift. I truly felt like I was at an uncle's house, someone who goes out of their way to make you feel at home, and to show you that Sicily, that Catania, is a wonderful place. Thank you so much, Pippo, for everything. I'll be back, I know it. Note: Although we spent €30 per person, we ate and drank like kings.
