Augustiner in Meran In Merano

We visited the Augustiner Brewery when we were in Salzburg and were so excited to see one when we were in Merana. The beer was just as cold and great tasting and the service here was outstanding. So outstanding that we came back a second night. Thomas was our waiter both nights. We so enjoyed him during our visits. We highly recommend this establishment! Jane and Brian

I've rarely eaten such good schnitzel with fries and salad. My husband swears by the dumpling variations. Delicious!

We visited the restaurant at least three times in 10 days because we really enjoyed the beer and the food. Furthermore, the service staff (I'd like to single out Thomas here!) was exceptionally friendly and served us quickly and courteously. There's nothing to complain about – compared to Munich breweries and their service staff, who can be quite grumpy! I can certainly judge that, having lived in Munich for 13 years. I highly recommend the Meraner Augustiner with its great, small, but very cozy beer garden!
