A truly authentic Italian restaurant located in a mountain village. Inside, you have a wonderful panoramic view over the forest and can warm yourself by a cozy wood-burning stove. The ambiance is rustic, yet the dining room is very bright, and in summer you can also sit outside. We had ravioli with sage and gnocchi. Both dishes were delicious and homemade. The service was friendly and very attentive. Many of the guests seemed to know the owner and were from the area. Card payments are accepted.

I went to Au Casun for Christmas lunch and it was a wonderful surprise! The restaurant is well-known and appreciated in the area, but I'd personally never eaten there. There were three of us and we all ate wonderfully, but I really have to thank them for their willingness to prepare a vegan menu for me, even though they don't usually do so. We'd asked if they could make something vegan when we booked, which isn't a given for Christmas lunch, and they assured us they could, but we weren't expecting such attention! They prepared an excellent lentil ragù, a seitan stew, and a chocolate and avocado mousse. Everything was delicious! Vegans know how hard it is to find dishes like this in non-vegan restaurants, and even rarer is their commitment to offering a good, non-improvised plant-based lunch. So, a heartfelt thank you!
Even the more traditional dishes were delicious, especially the guinea fowl and the desserts!

We had lunch at this restaurant and found the dishes tasty and well-portioned. The service was quick and very courteous, and they even accommodated our large dog, which isn't always a given...

We arrived at 11:45 am. A staff member told us they were fully booked at lunchtime, but they could hold a table for us at 2 pm.
Perfect! We were seated with a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains.
We ordered an antipasti platter for two. Pure bliss! Everything was homemade and delicious.
The same went for the main courses—pure bliss. And the desserts, however, were even more than bliss—truly delicious.
We had a wonderful meal for €30 per person, including a starter, main course, dessert, sparkling water, a glass of wine, and two coffees.

Excellent rabbit ravioli, wild boar stew with cloves and juniper berries (one of the best wild boar I've ever tasted), delicious zuppa inglese. Highly recommended.

The prices aren't those of a tavern, but rather those of a restaurant. You eat on a paper placemat and napkin.
Everything else is good. Just one appetizer for €16...the service, however, was attentive and made with quality ingredients. Inside, there's a beautiful view of the hills and mountains.

Fresh homemade pasta, gnocchi, ravioli, and more. Very good main courses. A variety of very good desserts. Attentive and discreet service. The atmosphere is bright and perhaps a little too airy. Expect €45.00 per person, but it's fair.
