A charming and calm restaurant which is run by a most gracious owner. He gave us very detailed explanations of the menu. Tasty dishes prepared with care. So good that we came back the next day to taste the rest of the menu. 😍

I would define it as a small charming restaurant located in a side street of the most beautiful street in Europe (via Garibaldi). Chic environment, few tables, just the right amount of refined clientele, zero fuss (a circumstance that is now more unique than rare), appropriately refined dishes that are placed alongside other simpler and more traditional ones such as a killer minestrone. Extremely friendly welcome and table service, lower prices than one would expect for such a location and for a truly excellent quality of dishes. Congratulations indeed.

In un giorno piovoso mi sono imbattuta in questo localino, accogliente, con dettagli eleganti, anche se un po da rinfrescare (soprattutto l'odore di stantio in bagno che , non provvisto di finestra , porta direttamente in sala). Ho ordinato un minestrone alla genovese, ero l'unica avventrice, ma ci ha messo molto ad arrivare: buono, peccato fosse poco; sul pane del coperto è evidente la volontà di non sprecare dato che ho ricevuto un mini panino su un piattino da caffè.. ma dato che si paga il coperto sarebbe giusto averne un pò di più. Dolce molto buono , una pera cotta al forno molto saporita, un gusto dimenticato dai dolci moderni. Perciò cucina bene, ma ambiente da curare . Prezzi nella media della zona, siamo in centro.

This place is a hidden gem and I was lucky enough to have found it right on time for opening and be seated right away. Wow! the food was exploding with different, yet comforting, flavors. 10/10 don’t miss this place if you get a chance.

Intimate restaurant reminiscent of the atmosphere of Italian films. We are very well received there and we eat very well, just like at home. The dishes are cooked by the wife of the very friendly owner. Accogliente place not to be missed in Genoa. An address to whisper.

Restaurant intimiste qui rappelle l'atmosphère des films italiens. On y est très bien accueilli et on y mange très bien, comme à la maison. Les plats sont cuisinés par la femme du patron fort sympathique. Endroit accogliente à ne pas manquer à Gênes. Une adresse à chuchoter.

In this place where you have to ring a bell to open the door, it feels like time passes a bit slowly. You order at the owner's pace, get served, and enjoy the sensuous music playing here while you wait. I wonder if it's because it's a bit in an alley so there aren't many people, but the food is good and I can see why this place has a high rating. Oh, the table charge here is 3 euros, but if you run out of bread, they keep bringing it to you. I was hungry so I ordered two main dishes. The fish dish was plentiful and the roast beef was really flavorful. Leave a review in real time while eating sparingly.
