A welcoming, rustic place with excellent pizzas and Abruzzo recipes. The cooked potatoes, prepared with walnuts, provola, speck, and other delicacies, are particularly delicious. Prices are reasonable.

I found myself by chance after many years, I didn't know they had changed owners, I found a renovated environment, very bright, very clean including the toilets, the guys were all very kind, polite and helpful, the pizzas were delicious and the beer was excellent... we will definitely be back soon and I will bring my family and friends... congratulations

A truly memorable dinner with my partner and a couple of dear friends: four different pizzas (Riccardo IV, 4 formaggi plus, Vesuvio, and Bufala) with extraordinary dough, a starter of unique and sublime stuffed fried calzoncini and truly superbly flavored French fries, a top-notch bottled Weiss beer (Franziskainer) and draft (red) beer, and for dessert, tiramisu with coffee biscotti and a Nutella-filled parcel worthy of applause. I'd say it was a top-notch dinner! We'll see you again soon, it's just a shame I didn't take any photos! Update September 13, 2025: Octavian (Ottaviano) has maintained and raised the bar of Annalisa's original proposal. The four added photos are: 0.4 Lowenbrau beer, 1 potato coccio with two supplì, special red pizzas with 4 formaggi plus, and the king's pizza.

The pizzas are fantastic, and the other dishes are delicious too. The waiters are very knowledgeable, and it's always a pleasure to eat at Assamanu.

A very quaint and well-maintained atmosphere with large outdoor spaces for comfortable dining. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pizza is spectacular! Wide selection of dough types, and above all, very digestible. Highly recommended for both family and friends. You won't be disappointed, not even by the bill!

After more than 15 years, perhaps it's time to say goodbye to Assamanù. The service and courtesy are excellent, but the pizza definitely isn't up to par with the past, both in terms of dough and ingredients. As I mentioned at checkout, the dough isn't at all similar to the past; the pizza is very thin, crispy, and almost biscuity, not leavened. De gustibus, but thinking back to all the Enrico IV and Cipollata I've eaten at Annalisa's is a bit painful 😔

Lovely place. We stayed at a nearby B&B, and they recommended this pizzeria. We loved everything about it. They even brought a bowl and a jug for our dog, and, as requested, they let us sit at a corner table. There's a huge selection of pizzas and appetizers, and since we were only two, we only got to try a few items. But we'll be back to try other things that piqued our interest, as we pass through the area often. 😋

02/10/2025: Hubby found this hidden gem. Home cooked food selections and warm and friendly service. Hot and cold selections. We shared and enjoyed roast vegetable salad, ravioli, green beans, and egg/parmeasean balls in tom sauce (can't remember their name). Dad had a seafood salad, fish and tripe. My 85 year old italian dad (originally from Vasto) returning to Italy from Australia, last time 25 years ago, said it was the best tripe he has had. Even was convinced to try their tiramasu which was amazing, as were our own dessert selections. Thank you Paola for treating my Dad to your tripe. Xx
30/09/2025: A Corner of Home with Fabulous Food! This self-service restaurant is a true gem! As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in a welcoming atmosphere that I'd describe as fairytale-like. But the most striking thing is the feeling of immediately feeling at home, like having lunch with your mother or aunts. The staff is incredibly kind and makes you feel pampered, contributing to a truly special experience. The food is excellent! I've been here several times and have always found a great variety, with the menu changing daily. This demonstrates admirable care and freshness. The first and second courses are exceptional, with authentic flavors and generous portions. The desserts also deserve praise: not only are they delicious, but they're also beautiful to look at, a real pleasure to finish on a sweet note. For a good lunch that combines quality, variety, and family warmth, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: The food is good, and Alessio can recommend even the most discerning palates. Hot appetizers include excellent and very tender pecorino alla callara (sheep's bread), followed by a must-try onion platter, which is amazingly good, and the meat stew! The charcuterie board is usually found in other places. The arrosticini are good, but it lacked a bit of salt. The bill is okay. Good service, very friendly waiters, and the place is well-decorated. In the summer, they even have a veranda where you can eat outside. They also do takeout. Overall, it's good!
27/09/2025: The atmosphere and staff are top notch. Excellent food, especially the arrosticini.
